Our Team

Liger is the nexus for a network of highly skilled experts. Liger's Principal, Phil Hogan is a well known Brisbane business identity who has been involved with business from a young age, having won a Qld Young Achiever's Entrepreneurs Award and other awards since. He is a Bachelor of Commerce (UQ), holds a Grad Dip - Applied Finance & Investment (Securities Institute), a Cert in Property Investment Analysis (QUT) and been a Fellow of FINSIA for 20years. He also holds a Cert II in Security Operations (NSTA) and is a Qld gov licensed Security Advisor.

Phil worked for an accounting firm before joining family owned property developer and tourism operator Delta Holdings. He then went on to become Gen Mgr of ASEAN Ltd, a publicly listed all-suite resort developer. Phil was later appointed Exec Dir/GM of ASX listed resort operator, Koala Corporation Australia Ltd, which was described under Phil's watch by what was then Australia's leading business magazine, 'Australian Business', as a "successful resort doctor".

He then went into private business and was MD of Hogan Brothers Pty Ltd for over 30 years. With partners it primarily acquired large hospitality venues in Brisbane's CBD, which it re-themed, refitted and relaunched. Hogan Bros operated a number of landmark venues including the iconic Jade Buddha.

Co-director Michelle Hogan LLB (Hons) QUT has enjoyed a long career in both the public and private sectors. As Liger's in-house legal counsel, Michelle brings over 30 years of commercial experience, primarily in the fields of hospitality, leisure and property.
